Music my favourite genres: jangle-pop, shoegaze,
jazz-funk
I first felt (and I still feel) a burning passion for music with jazz, soul, and funk. My dad showed
me The Blues Brothers far too young (I reckon I was 5?), but fortunately the soundtrack to it
encouraged me to have fun with music and be a bit inquisitive with my listening.
Nowadays, I also listen to a great deal of 80s-90s indie music, particularly from the indie scene in
the UK (think the Jesus and Mary Chain and their contemporaries, C86 artists, early shoegaze,
baggy Madchester stuff, etc.) My favourite artists are My Bloody Valentine and Belle and
Sebastian (I've seen both live!!) and my favourite album is Isn't Anything. If you're

Twin Peaks ily dale cooper
Just an incredibly empathetic work to the struggle of Laura Palmer. It does a brilliant job of
illustrating the town's collective grief and I like how it sort of parodies soap operas to really
emphasise how horrific deeds slip through the cracks of comfortable suburbian life. It's surreal and
dreamy and I love
every bit of it.
In fact I've been to Snoqualmie (where it was filmed) on my trip to Seattle! It did feel quite
emotional seeing the
waterfall. Here are some pics :p
Electronic organs can someone buy me one
Once, I was taking a maths class after school and my teacher suddenly asked me " do you like Hammond
organs?". After I answered yes, I was suddenly bombarded with an infodump on leslie speakers and
tonewheel organs. The conviction of which he spoke with made me oddly happy, and I went on to do
my own research on the instrument I used to simply casually enjoy. I lasted 10 minutes before I
wanted my own.
I borrowed one from my bass teacher, but after a few months I had to return it due to lack of
room :( In the future, I'd like a combo organ like a Vox Continental, or a Farfisa (and go
Inspiral Carpets mode), but currently I'm semi-content using virtual instruments on
my DAW.

British sitcoms you ever drink bailey's from a shoe?
Just a very comforting thing to watch, having grown up on stuff like The Mighty Boosh, The IT Crowd (fuck Graham Linehan!!), and Red Dwarf. Red Dwarf especially holds a special place in my heart: it is quite literally the show of all time. It has mpreg from selfcest, a shit-ton of fanservice, alternative universes, a genderfluid computer, and of course unintentional gay undertones. I love it.
Currently I'm bingeing all of the Alan Partridge stuff and I'm having a blast. He's the worst fucking guy ever and yet he's still my blorbo.
